Footprints offers children a programme that is centred around the children and what they are interested in.

With a range of toys for children of different ages from birth to 5 years, and activities to explore, the children grow and learn.
Through using the services in the community of the toy library and book library the children are kept interested, and new learning is achieved. The programme is planned out each month to be focused around the children. Planning involves individual planning and group planning around the current  focus of investigation at the time.

Through this planning the educator is able to show parents/whānau, the learning and development that has been achieved, and interests that the child has shown.

Each child receives a learning portfolio to record all of this learning and documentation.
